# VoisMapp

> VoisMapp is a location-based voice social network. You record your voice and it stays on the map at the place where you left it; people nearby listen to it right there. There is no text feed: only human voice and place. Every post disappears from the map automatically after 24 hours, and your exact location is never published. Tagline: "Your voice has a place" (Turkish: "Sesinin bir yeri var"). Founded in 2025 in Türkiye.

VoisMapp (https://voismapp.com) runs in the browser on phones and computers and can be added to the home screen as an app (PWA). The interface is available in Turkish, English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese. It is free to sign up, share, listen, go live and make voice calls; only optional features such as renting an area on the map are paid, and prices are shown before payment.

## What you can do

- Drop a voice recording on the map at your location (10 seconds to 30 minutes)
- Go live: broadcast your voice; listeners join from the map, guests can speak
- Open Channel ("Açık Kanal"): get matched by voice with a stranger; while it searches, the map flies like a drone over cities and landmarks, and once matched it shows the other person's (rounded) area
- Frequency ("Frekans"): a personalised discovery tour: the map flies from voice to voice around you and circles each place while it plays
- Search: people, topics and #hashtags with Top / Latest / People tabs; "Listen on the map" plays results place by place
- Walkie ("Telsiz"): voice messages and one-to-one voice calls
- Area ("Alan"): draw your own area on the map and put a photo, voice or message in it

## How discovery ranks voices

Nearby voices come first, then interest signals learned on the device: people you follow, listen to to the end, like, and topics (#hashtags) you engage with; skipping, "show less of this" and dislikes lower a voice. Reported users appear very rarely, blocked users never. One in five voices comes from someone new to you.

## Privacy and safety

- Every voice leaves the map 24 hours after posting; if "Keep" was turned on while recording, it stays on the profile and remains searchable, otherwise it also leaves the profile and search; it is kept in a closed legal archive for 30 days (100 days if it was reported) and then deleted irreversibly
- Exact coordinates are never shown; locations are rounded to 20, 50, 100 or 200 metres (default 100 m)
- Account deletion has a 30-day grace period: signing in during that time cancels it
- Sign-up needs an email address (confirmed by email); the phone number is stored only as account data and is never verified by code
- Every voice, voice reply and user can be reported; reports are reviewed by people
- Notifications are budgeted: at most four "milestone / trending near you" notifications a day, none at night
